Wilsonhouse is me, Alastair Wilson. I'm a DevOps engineer with over 10 years in IT and software, based in Nottinghamshire.
Hi, I'm Alastair
Day to day I work as a DevOps engineer, looking after the cloud platforms, pipelines and automation that keep software running. Over the years I've worked across software engineering, infrastructure and support, so I've seen tech problems from most angles.
I started Wilsonhouse because good tech advice shouldn't need a big agency. Most businesses just want someone who'll listen, explain things plainly and take ownership of getting it sorted.
I run Wilsonhouse alongside my full-time role. That keeps me hands-on with current tools, and it means I take on a small number of projects so each one gets proper attention.

How I work
It starts with a conversation about what you're trying to do. Then I'll write up a short plan, deliver it in small steps and keep you in the loop throughout.
